Lowell with Red Oak Trees

Welcome To Plants Beautiful Nursery!

For over 45 years the Dittberner Family have been growers of retail and wholesale balled & burlap nursery stock and christmas trees. For five generations we have planted, pruned and harvested our trees, giving us a strong connection to our land. We have over 250 acres on two farms located in the rich lake region of West Central Minnesota. Because of our Northern location and hardy tree stock, our trees can withstand the harshest of winters.

The Traditional Shade and Evergreen Trees

We have over 50 different species of Evergreens and Shade Trees including the more popular: Colorado Blue Spruce, Colorado Green Spruce, Meyers Spruce, Black Hills Spruce, Norway Spruce, Balsam Fir, Siberian Fir, Norway Pine, Ponderosa Pine, White Pine, Mugo Pine, Eastern Red Cedar, American Dark Green Arborvitae, Serviceberry, Northern Red Oak, Burr Oak and Swamp White Oak.

The Artistic Topiary Trees

Along with many other specialty trees, we carefully craft and develop live Topiary Trees in Hindu Pan and Pom Pom styles. We are the only real Topiary Tree growers in the Midwest area.

Sustainable Growing

For the last 15 years we have grown our trees without harmful chemicals or pesticides. Instead, we use mowing, natural fertilizers and other natural growing methods that are safer for us and the environment.

Late Spring Orders

Because of our northern location, bud brake comes late here and we are able to dig trees until mid to late may which is later then most nurseries in the upper Midwest. We ship our retail and wholesale nursery stock and topiary trees to The Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Colorado and beyond! Contact us to find out what our digging status is and for more information about shipping anywhere in North America.

We Are One Of The Only Growers In The Midwest Who B&Bs Trees Up To 24 Feet!
